The practice of baking and eating breads at Easter has a long history dating back to Byzantium. Through the centuries many countries and cultures have developed their own special Easter breads. In multicultural Canada, we are blessed to find different kinds of Easter breads in our grocery stores and magazines.
Join Margaret Griffith-Cochrane in her home to bake some fun Easter breads such as “Bunny Buns”, “Easter Braid Bread” or “Hot Cross Buns”. Close your eyes… can’t you just imagine the smell of that bread proofing and the warmth of the room as it bakes!
