“Cycling Across the Himalayas”
Presentation by Dr. Brenda Trenhome
Thursday, Nov 7 at 7 pm, our Social Justice Committee is sponsoring a presentation and slide show by Dr. Brenda Trenholme about her three-month cycling adventure through the Himalayas that included crossing the Tibetan Plateau, cycling along the Indus and Ganges Rivers, down into the beautiful Spiti and Terai Valleys, and up through the world’s highest navigable passes. Dr. Trenholme will highlight the geography, history and culture of the people living in remote northeast India and Nepal.
Admission will be a donation to the Kenya Education Endowment Fund that supports high school students in Kenya.
