In this hands-on workshop you will discover how Ukrainian Easter eggs are made and decorate one (or more) yourself.
While you work you will hear the history of Ukrainian egg making and learn about the meaning of many of the symbols and colours in traditional egg. Today modern artists are taking the methodology of Ukrainian egg making and creating beautiful expressive fragile works, while families teach their children how to make simple expressions of love through colour.
Come give it a try. It’s easy to make an egg for you to display at Easter or year round!
