Catch Your Family Stories
Delightful stories — the ones Gramma, Mom and Dad told you, and those from your own experience, the tales you’d like your progeny to enjoy and learn from, too. Here’s your invitation to join a CUU writing circle to catch those precious stories with pen and paper. With Mae Pagdin facilitating, we’ll access memories through timed writing from
prompts, using the methods of Natalie Goldberg, author of Writing Down the Bones. (Mae enjoyed such a group when she lived on Hornby Island, and she’d like to introduce you to this source of joy and fulfilment.)
Bring a notebook, pen and a love of story. Maximum 8 participants, sign up early!
Dates: Two Thursdays, January 23rd and 30th, 1000 a.m. to 12 noon
