The KNITTING GROUP meets weekly on Mondays at 1:30 p.m.
During the summer months, including Labour Day (September 1st), the knitting group will be meeting in the courtyard of Berwick (1700 Comox Ave.). There is shade if we need it and often a breeze. If the weather is awful we can meet indoors – enter through the main entrance of the building and turn right past the reception desk to the large multipurpose room.
On September 9th, we will be meeting back in the church- in the basement room just off the lower parking lot.
We are a supportive community of people who love to craft items. We knit, crochet and quilt items to sell or give away. We have made items for Healthy Babies, the Care-a-Van, and prayer shawls for those in need or as gifts.
Multi-Media Products: baby items, dryer balls, felted purses, underwater coral reefs, crocheted water balloons - the variety is endless! And no yarn is too tangled for the group to tackle together!
