On May 29th, the Visioning Team presented their report during the Sunday Worship Service.
Our first in-person Sunrise Service since the beginning of Covid! The weather cooperated with no wind or rain. A tenacious bank of clouds covered the actual sun rising out of the ocean, but the day's beginning was spectacular anyway. Many thanks to Margie Van Binsbergen for her photos.
Thanks to Tracy Windle for organizing this event; Ross Griffith-Cochrane for the use of his propane fire ring; Ken Vaux for transporting and setting up the fire ring; Howard Robertson for his lovely, haunting prelude, postlude, and accompaniment of the hymns on his clarinet.
There was a very good turnout: thanks to everyone who came, participated, and sang - including a number of people from the community who don't attend our church.
The tradition continues!
